wire.less.dk was founded in 2002 by Tomas Antvorskov Krag and Sebastian Büttrich.
Sebastian Büttrich
is an expert in
embedded/pervasive systems, wireless technology, open source / free software, environmental science and solar energy,
building
networks, systems, skills and capacity – as a manager, developer, architect, consultant and teacher.
Current speciality areas of work include LoRa (Long Range Wireless), TV White Spaces, secure/private clouds for science and business,
and data acquisition for water and air quality management.
He works as a Research Lab Manager at the IT University of Copenhagen, http://itu.dk ,
and as a Network Developer and Trainer for the Network Startup Resource Center http://www.nsrc.org –
in the latter role focused on developing countries and communities, especially in Asia and Africa.
He is a co-author of book “Wireless Networking in the Developing World”, http://wndw.net/ .
Sebastian holds a Ph.D. in quantum physics from the Technical University of Berlin in Germany,
with focus on optics, radio spectroscopy, photovoltaic systems and scientific programming.
Tomas Krag
is a technology generalist with a focus on Internet technologies, low-cost infrastructure, Open standards, Free/Open Source Software and grassroots/community approaches to technology.
He is an experienced Linux consultant, systems architect and trainer.
